| AXiOM v2.4 aims at increasing productivity & reducing overheads |

February 2009 - AXiOM version 2.4, available in March, marks a turning point for the product, with many new innovations being implementat as well as enhancements to it's traditional strengths.
As explained by AXiOM’s Business Unit Manager, Jennifer Donoghue, “This product release is focused on helping consultants work smarter and get more done in less time, so that they can spend more time focusing on revenue generating tasks. The new version also focuses on increasing the usability of the product through the introduction of toolbars throughout the application, enabling users to perform common tasks at the click of a button, as well as enabling users to completely customise the look of the application to suit the way they work.” “ Feedback from our customers on previews of this release has been exceptional. A well designed recruitment software solution can have a huge impact to a business’ overall efficiency and ultimate profitability.” The upgrade expands on AXiOM’s existing integration to Microsoft Outlook 2007 by now enabling users to automatically diary note incoming and outgoing emails, create new candidates and customer contacts from an email, as well as the ability to automatically upload job application emails received from Seek, MyCareer, CareerOne and JobServe directly to AXiOM. The upgrade also enables users to completely customise the application to suit the way they work. The application can be customised in terms of sorting of data on screen, showing and hiding columns and tabs, tab ordering, window sizing, column placement, and setting default tabs. Other new features include integration to Google Maps to look up addresses and generate directions for candidates to their job site (which can be emailed direct to the candidate); the Consultant Desktop has been updated to enable consultants to view active placements and placements about to end; customer hierarchies (parent/child) can now be recorded and reported; reporting has also been enhanced to enable drill down to individual records; Twitter integration to enable posting of job ads; and much, much more . Finally, AXiOM’s job board posting application, PostIt, has been updated to interface with CareerOne and JobServe.
